HOW TO WORK WITH US

How would you like to start:
by service, or by role?

Hire us for a service and we staff the work, or hire us for a role and manage the person yourself. Either way, we assess your books first, then scope only what you need.

FOR OWNERS WHOSE BOOKS CAN'T KEEP UP

Hand off the close.
Keep the visibility.

Outsourced accounting: from the day-to-day entries to the month-end close, we run the work you shouldn't have to own, with the right mix of people behind it. For example:

Not another handoff to manage. A considered way to get the work right, from the first conversation to the next close.

FIRST, UNDERSTAND

Start with your books.
Not a package.

We start by understanding your needs, then look at the real state of the books. The assessment tells us the starting point, and if there is a lot to clean up, the catch-up work becomes a separate project with its own quote.

The foundation
THEN, DEFINE

The right scope.
The right people.

Before anything starts, the work is documented. Together we agree:

  • Services, deliverables and responsibility boundaries
  • The client-facing lead and communication cadence
  • Systems access and client approvals
  • Any fractional time allocation
  • Capacity and a realistic start date
The working agreement
TOGETHER, DELIVER

A rhythm you
can work with.

One accountable contact runs the work and owns the outcome. Deliverables land on the agreed calendar, with the detail checked and reviewed before anything reaches you.

FROM OWNERS AND OPERATORS

What changes when
the books are handled.

This is what our clients say about working with us.

Before we switched, our month-end close was taking three weeks and the numbers still didn’t tie out. Now it’s done in under five business days and I actually trust what I’m looking at when I make decisions.

Dana M.Owner | Mid-size logistics company

We came to them with two years of messy books and no idea where we stood. They caught everything up without making us feel bad about it, and for the first time our financials look like a real business’s.

Marcus V.Co-founder | E-commerce brand

I didn’t want to hire a full-time controller, but I needed someone who could own the books day to day. Adding their team to ours was exactly the right level of support. They slot in cleanly and just get it done.

Elena R.VP Operations | Professional services firm

We used to close the books whenever we got around to it, sometimes a month behind. Now it happens like clockwork every time, and I actually have current numbers when a partner asks for them.

Lawrence S.Managing Partner | Boutique consulting practice

The biggest change isn’t accuracy, it’s visibility. I can see my cash position at any moment, so I stopped guessing whether we could afford to take on new work.

Tom H.President | Commercial construction company

Reconciliations were the part of my job I dreaded most. Now they’re just done, correctly, every single month. I didn’t even realize how much time that was eating until it stopped.

Eduardo M.Founder | Digital marketing agency

They give me CFO-level insight without the full-time salary. When we were deciding whether to expand, their analysis on margins and cash flow made the call obvious.

Greg P.CEO | Regional distribution company

The transition from our previous accountant was smooth in a way I wasn’t expecting. They pulled everything over, asked smart questions, and had us fully up and running within a couple of weeks.

Linda K.Owner | Family-owned restaurant group

I used to be doing the books at 11 p.m. on weeknights. Now I hand them what I’ve got by Friday and walk away. That’s my life back.

Sam O.Principal | Independent design studio

What stands out most is how they communicate. No jargon, no silence for weeks, no surprises at the end of the month. They explain things in plain English and I always know where we stand.

Rachel T.Director | Nonprofit organization

We started by just outsourcing a bookkeeping role through them, but quickly transitioned our entire accounting function to their team. Having that flexibility was huge, they removed all my management headaches by taking everything completely off my plate.

Jason L.CEO | Software-as-a-Service platform

A few things
worth knowing.

A conversation should start with clarity.

Fit and ways to work

Who is this for?

US companies with up to $15M in annual revenue and USD books. Owner-led companies often need a managed close or dedicated transaction support. Larger finance teams may need a specific role, readiness project, or broader accounting function.

Do you offer staff augmentation or outsourced accounting?

Both. Hire us for a role (staff augmentation): a dedicated accountant, from bookkeeper to controller, joins your team full time and works under your management. Or hire us for a service (outsourced accounting): we scope the need, quote the price and set up the right roles, full-time or fractional, dedicated or shared, in the most cost-effective mix that gets the job done.

Who does the work?

Experienced accountants from our team, most of them in Latin America, each matched to the level the task needs. When the work calls for it, we add US partners for certified CPAs or US-based staff, or a team in India for high-volume processing.

What is outside your scope?

We do not process or file payroll, prepare personal tax returns, issue audit opinions or deliver audited financial statements. Audit-readiness work supports preparation; your independent audit firm performs the audit.

Pricing and contracts

How much does it cost?

Each dedicated role has a published monthly starting price, shown on our roles page and on each role page. Services are quoted per engagement after we review the work. Catch-up and cleanup carries a separate fee, quoted per project after an assessment.

How long is the contract?

Dedicated roles run on an annual commitment, invoiced monthly. For services, the term is agreed in the scope before work begins.

How does fractional support work?

We agree the responsibilities, time allocation and price for your specific needs. Fractional Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Controller and CFO support is quoted separately. Dedicated starting rates are not fractional package prices.

Who do we contract with?

Remote Accounting Team is a Colombian company. We discuss the appropriate entity and paperwork before engagement.

Getting started

How soon can we start?

After discussing the work, we check capacity and confirm a realistic start date. We do not promise immediate availability before that check.

Do we need cleanup before we start?

Not automatically. We assess the books first. If catch-up work or cleanup is needed, it carries a separate fee, quoted per project after the assessment.

Hours and software

Will the team work our business hours?

Yes. Full US business-hours coverage is a requirement for the team, wherever each person is based. Client-facing roles work in English, and the working schedule is agreed for your engagement.

Which software do you work in?

We work inside the systems you already use, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and Brex. If you run something else, we get onboarded on how your team uses it, and you have a named contact for follow-up questions.

Security and quality

How do you keep our data secure and confidential?

We work in accounts you own, through named user seats and least-privilege roles you control, with multi-factor authentication on every login. Credentials stay in a team password manager, everyone on the team is bound by written confidentiality terms, and access is revoked on a person's last day on your engagement.

Who reviews the work, and can a CPA sign off?

Work is reviewed on our side before it reaches you, and one accountable contact owns it. When a client or a job requires certified work, such as a CPA's sign-off, we provide it through our global network of licensed professionals.
