Know what needs attention.
We test the books against Big Four audit-testing standards and deliver findings, recommendations, and agreed accounting adjustments before an audit or diligence process.

What Readiness Means Here
Readiness work is a focused review of the accounting records. We use audit-style procedures such as sampling, tie-outs, cut-off checks, and support testing to identify issues in the books.
- Test selected balances and transactions against supporting records
- Review cut-off, classification, and reconciliation issues
- Identify proposed GAAP adjustments within the agreed scope
- Summarize findings, open items, and recommended remediation
Clear Boundaries
Remote Accounting Team does not perform an audit, issue an audit opinion, or deliver audited financial statements. We do not provide PBC packages, technical accounting memos, audit liaison services, sample management, walkthroughs, lead schedules, or audit workpapers.
The client's independent audit firm remains responsible for the audit and any assurance conclusion. No audit, financing, or transaction outcome is guaranteed.
Audit support, and what we do not do
We test your books against Big Four audit testing standards and give you findings and recommendations, never audited financial statements. Your independent audit firm performs the audit.
Works in the systems you already use
We work inside the systems you already use, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and Brex. If you run something else, we get onboarded on how your team uses it, and you have a named contact for follow-up questions.

Frequently asked questions
Do you handle payroll or tax returns?
No. We do not process or file payroll, and we do not prepare tax returns. We can hand your CPA a clean, reconciled set of books.
Do you provide audits?
No. We do not issue audit opinions or deliver audited financial statements. Audit-readiness work prepares you for an audit that your independent audit firm performs.
Who reviews the work, and can a CPA sign off?
Work is reviewed on our side before it reaches you, and one accountable contact owns it. When a client or a job requires certified work, such as a CPA's sign-off, we provide it through our global network of licensed professionals.
Which software do you work in?
We work inside the systems you already use, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and Brex. If you run something else, we get onboarded on how your team uses it, and you have a named contact for follow-up questions.
When do we need audit support?
Before an audit, a lender request or a sale. We test the books the way an audit team would and give you findings and recommendations while there is time to fix them.
