Outsourced accounting services.
We scope, staff and own the work.
Hire us for a service: tell us the job, such as the monthly close or payables. We scope it, quote the price and set up the right people behind it, under one accountable contact.
What do you need us to take off your desk?
Start with the piece that hurts most; the rest can follow when it makes sense.

Meet about thisHow outsourced accounting works
You hire us for the result, not for hours or headcount. We agree what gets delivered and when, then set up the roles behind it, full-time or fractional, dedicated or shared, in the most cost-effective mix that gets the job done. One client-facing contact stays accountable and coordinates the team behind it.
- Assess. We review the real state of your books and systems. If there is a backlog, catch-up work becomes a separate project with its own quote.
- Scope. Deliverables, calendar, responsibility boundaries, systems access and approvals are documented before work begins.
- Staff. Each task goes to the level it needs: a clerk for invoice entry, a staff accountant for reconciliations, a senior accountant or controller for review.
- Deliver. Work lands on the agreed calendar, reviewed on our side before it reaches you.
What every service includes
- One accountable contact who owns the deliverables
- Full US business-hours coverage, with client-facing staff who work in English
- Review on our side before work reaches you
- Work in your systems; you keep approvals and payment release
- Certified work, such as a CPA's sign-off, through our global network when a client or a job requires it
How scoping and pricing work
Each service is quoted per engagement after we review the work, as a monthly scope or a fixed-scope project. The price follows the agreed deliverables and the mix of people the work needs. Catch-up and cleanup carries a separate fee, quoted per project after an assessment. The term is agreed in the scope before work begins.
A full outsourced finance department
For companies that need more than one service, we can run the accounting function as a whole: transaction processing, the close, reporting and planning, with accounting management or Controller support where needed, under one accountable lead. If you already have a finance team, we can add only the levels it is missing.
Rather manage a person yourself?
Hire us for a role instead: a dedicated accountant joins your team full time and works under your management, at a published monthly starting price. See dedicated accounting roles.
Works in the systems you already use
We work inside the systems you already use, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and Brex. If you run something else, we get onboarded on how your team uses it, and you have a named contact for follow-up questions.
Product names belong to their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between staff augmentation and outsourced accounting?
They are our two ways to work. With staff augmentation you hire us for a role: a dedicated accountant from our team works full time under your management. With outsourced accounting you hire us for a service: we scope the work, quote the price, own the deliverables and staff it with the most cost-effective mix of people.
How much does outsourced accounting cost?
Each service is quoted per engagement after we review the work, because the price follows the agreed deliverables and the mix of people the work needs. If you would rather budget by person, each dedicated role has a published monthly starting price, from $1,852 a month for a bookkeeper. Catch-up and cleanup carries a separate fee, quoted per project after an assessment.
Is outsourcing cheaper than hiring an in-house accountant?
For the same work, our published role prices are below what a comparable US hire costs, and you do not recruit, train or replace the person yourself. We are not the cheapest option: offshore providers in India or the Philippines cost less per hour. What you get from us instead is experienced accountants who work your full US business day, in English, and know how US companies operate.
How long is the contract for a service?
The term is agreed in the scope before work begins.
Can you run our whole accounting function?
Yes. We can combine transaction processing, the close, reporting and planning under one accountable lead, or extend your existing finance team with the levels it is missing.
How do we get started?
We assess your books first, then scope only what you need. If catch-up work is needed, it carries a separate fee, quoted per project.
What is a nearshore accounting team?
A team recruited across Latin America that covers full US business hours, so your questions are answered during your working day. Remote Accounting Team is a Colombian company.
Do you handle payroll or tax returns?
No. We do not process or file payroll, and we do not prepare tax returns. We can hand your CPA a clean, reconciled set of books.
Who reviews the work, and can a CPA sign off?
Work is reviewed on our side before it reaches you, and one accountable contact owns it. When a client or a job requires certified work, such as a CPA's sign-off, we provide it through our global network of licensed professionals.
