Outsourced month-end close.
Closed on the date we agree, every month.
We help owner-led companies and finance teams keep the general ledger current, complete the month-end close, and prepare useful financial statements on an agreed calendar.

What the close can include
The right close process depends on transaction volume, entities, systems, and the work already handled by your team. We define those boundaries before the engagement starts.
- Bank, credit card, merchant, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals, prepaids, reclassifications, and other agreed journal entries
- Basic intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidation
- Month-end checklist and supporting schedules
- P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and basic flux commentary
How the close works with your team
This is our service model: you hire us for the result, and we set up the roles behind it, full-time or fractional, dedicated or shared, in the mix that gets the close done at the right cost. We can own an agreed close scope or work alongside an internal bookkeeper, Controller, or finance leader. One client-facing contact stays accountable for the work and coordinates the team behind it. If you would rather manage a person directly, see dedicated accounting roles.
Close dates and review responsibilities are set in the engagement scope; review is not a universal sign-off.
What outsourced month-end close includes each month
Each month we reconcile bank, credit card, merchant and balance sheet accounts, post the agreed journal entries, and complete the month-end checklist, so your P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement are ready on the agreed calendar.
Works in the systems you already use
We work inside the systems you already use, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and Brex. If you run something else, we get onboarded on how your team uses it, and you have a named contact for follow-up questions.

Frequently asked questions
What is a nearshore accounting team?
A team recruited across Latin America that covers full US business hours, so your questions are answered during your working day. Remote Accounting Team is a Colombian company.
What is the difference between staff augmentation and outsourced accounting?
They are our two ways to work. With staff augmentation you hire us for a role: a dedicated accountant from our team works full time under your management. With outsourced accounting you hire us for a service: we scope the work, quote the price, own the deliverables and staff it with the most cost-effective mix of people.
Do you handle payroll or tax returns?
No. We do not process or file payroll, and we do not prepare tax returns. We can hand your CPA a clean, reconciled set of books.
Who reviews the work, and can a CPA sign off?
Work is reviewed on our side before it reaches you, and one accountable contact owns it. When a client or a job requires certified work, such as a CPA's sign-off, we provide it through our global network of licensed professionals.
Which software do you work in?
We work inside the systems you already use, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and Brex. If you run something else, we get onboarded on how your team uses it, and you have a named contact for follow-up questions.
