FP&A AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

Know what changed, why,
and what to do next.

Clean books tell you what happened. Financial analysis tells you what it means. We turn your monthly numbers into budgets, forecasts and reporting you can decide from.

A licensed US CPA supervises our work.

What we handle

  • Budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Budget-versus-actual and variance analysis
  • Cash forecasting
  • KPI reporting and management packs, including board and investor reporting when it is in scope
  • Scenario analysis for hiring, pricing or spending decisions

Who delivers it

An Accounting Manager, Controller or Fractional CFO, depending on the depth you need. Responsibilities and time are agreed with you. (See the role pages.)

Built on closed books

Analysis is only as good as the underlying numbers, so we pair it with a managed close, or start with an assessment of your books.

Who this fits

Owners who want a forecast and a clear view of cash, and finance teams that need analysis capacity they do not have in-house.

What is FP&A?

Financial planning and analysis: budgeting, forecasting and analysing results against plan so leaders can decide.

Where this fits

Works in the systems you already use

We work inside the systems you already use, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and Brex. If you run something else, we get onboarded on how your team uses it, and you have a named contact for follow-up questions.

Product names belong to their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle payroll or tax returns?

No. We do not process or file payroll, and we do not prepare tax returns. We can hand your CPA a clean, reconciled set of books.

Who supervises the work?

A licensed US CPA supervises our work.

Which software do you work in?

We work inside the systems you already use, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp and Brex. If you run something else, we get onboarded on how your team uses it, and you have a named contact for follow-up questions.

What is the difference between financial analysis and accounting?

Accounting records and closes what happened. Financial analysis interprets those numbers and looks ahead.

Do we need a fractional CFO for this?

Not always. Many needs are met by an Accounting Manager or Controller; we scope to what you need.
